A night of murder, singing and time-warping!

The basement of Rigby’s Bar, known as ‘The Dungeon’, was the venue for this theatre/ dinner experience, Rocky Horror Murder Show. The dark room was the scene for this murder mystery with a musical comedy twist. It was an intimate venue and perfect for the small crowd to interact with each other, and to be involved in the show.

The highly successful ‘Buzz Quiz’, an electronic quiz show featuring wireless buzzers for each team, interactive components, special feature rounds, bonus point activities and self-scoring will be expanded nationally. Event Masters have reached an agreement with the Netherlands-based game developers Game Show Crew to take the product throughout Australia and New Zealand both as a show concept and to provide the software to be purchased by schools, clubs, venues and businesses.

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience has completed the fourth tour of WA in 18 months and keeps getting bigger and better. The team return in February 2012 for the Perth Fringe Festival and will hold a few private shows after the festival, followed by a full-scale tour throughout August in Perth and regional WA. A huge win for Perth has also been secured with the legendary ‘Dirty Dick’s Theatre Restaurant’ returning to where it all started in Perth in June 2012. A 2 week tour will see the show, which started in WA in 1970 and left in the early 90?s to NSW, return to the beginning for what promises to be one of the most anticipated trips down memory lane for the year. Tickets will be on sale for this limited season early in February 2012 to ‘Friends with Benefits’ and to the general public by the end of Feb.

In a major development, Rigby’s in the Perth CBD has joined forces with Event Masters and will become the ‘home’ of dinner and variety theatre in 2012. Owner Greg Walker is excited about a major refurbishment of the venue and bringing both touring and locally produced dinner shows to the people of Perth. The venue, one of the best kept secrets in town, has proven perfect for this type of entertainment and will host the Faulty Towers The Dining Experience performances in Feb. and will be commencing monthly show seasons from January, with a new, exciting show promised each month. Event Masters are working with some extremely talented writers, directors and performers to bring a great selection of fun, very professional shows to the public throughout the year. On the 19th of November 2011 we took our staff to the Faulty Towers Dinner Experience for our Christmas Staff function at the Kalamunda Hotel. The venue, food and staff were excellent and the Interactive Show with the three main characters from the TV show was unbelievably good. My wife and I don’t remember laughing so much at any show we have been to before and as I looked around the room I noticed everyone from cleaners and apprentice mechanics, sales staff and managers were all laughing and enjoying the theatrics which shows the wide appeal it has. Two days later and staff are still talking about just how good the night was and I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to go and see this fabulous hysterically funny show. It is as if you are actually in one of the TV episodes and you have a starring role.
We have rebooked to take my family along and I advise anyone to do the same, this kind of experience comes along very rarely and it is not to be missed.
